Our service & your quote
myDzUs provides personal and business shipping from the USA to Algeria. Request a quote ID before preparing your shipment. Online quotes are estimates; our office confirms your shipment details and charges by phone or WhatsApp. Shipping takes an estimated 40–60 days to Algerian ports, not to pickup.
Billable packages & optional extras
Bags and plastic boxes have fixed billable weights of 20 lb or 40 lb; suitcases are billed at 23 lb. Kilogram selection changes the displayed rate and weight, not the fixed package charge. Insurance is optional: $45 per 20 lb package or suitcase, $90 per 40 lb package, and $30 per large item. Optional packaging costs $40 per shipment.
Packing
Pack clothing in bags or plastic boxes. Keep cosmetics separate from clothing: drop off or ship cosmetics in their own securely closed boxes or bags. Do not mix cosmetics and clothes in the same package. Our staff will safely combine and consolidate your packages for shipping. As a packing tip, fold clothing neatly and securely close all bags and box lids. Prohibited items, including liquids, are still not accepted.
Prohibited goods
Do not ship any of these items: auto parts, medicine, protein powder, drones, binoculars, phones, tablets, paint, liquids or batteries. Check your goods before packing to make sure none of these items are included.
Pickup & prepaid storage
Every quote includes $30 per shipment, paid upfront, for up to 3 storage days in Algeria. Days are counted from arrival confirmation. From day 4, late storage costs $30 per day per shipment, in addition to the prepaid $30. Collect your goods no later than day 10 from arrival confirmation: goods cannot be stored for more than 10 days.
Cancellation after hub drop-off
Cancellation after your package has been dropped off at a hub or shipped to a hub incurs a $150 cancellation fee plus shipping costs. This fee is separate from your initial quote and applies only if you cancel after drop-off or shipping to a hub.
Payments
Submitting a quote request does not take a payment. Online payment is not currently available through this website. Confirm payment arrangements and the final amount with our office before paying.
Customs & duties
myDzUs handles customs and duties for your shipment. Contact our office before shipping to confirm the arrangements for your goods. The 40–60 day estimate is for arrival at Algerian ports, not a guaranteed customs-clearance or pickup date.
Insurance & pickup liability
Optional insurance covers unseen damage or lost items. All packages and their contents must be checked at pickup; report any loss or damage to our staff before taking your goods. myDzUs does not accept liability after pickup, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Contact the office before adding insurance to confirm coverage limits, exclusions and claim requirements for your shipment; no unlimited compensation is promised.
